already an abstraction. When I create a new image, I take this
abstraction one step further by using only the calligraphic components
of lines and dots.
The secret of calligraphy lies is mastery of the brush. The calligrapher
is like an opera singer; he must master his voice.
Calligraphy is like singing with the brush.
Everyday I sing with the brush-usually in the early morning between the
hours of 5 and 7. Fortunately, I don disturb my neighbors!
